Welcome to the final issue of the incrEAST newsletter. The end of this year also marks the end of the FP7 funded IncoNet EaP project, which has been running the web portal incrEAST and provided this newsletter since September 2013. Under several predecessor projects, the web portal and newsletter have developed into a trusted source of information since 2008.
New Horizon 2020 follow-up projects with parts of our target regions ‘Eastern Partnership’ and ‘Central Asia’ have already started. Those of you working in or with the Black Sea area will be familiar with the great work of BLACK SEA HORIZON. The STI cooperation between EU Member Sates and Ukraine is being monitored and supported by the very active RI-LINKS2UA, which has already published some valuable analyses, and last but not least the new EaP PLUS has recently taken up its work and will continue the legacy of IncoNet EaP.
With this last issue we once more hope to provide you with information that will help you to engage in new powerful STI cooperation activities or strengthen the networks that you have already started.
