The practical training took place in the ROST premises in Brussels, Belgium, during October 23-28, 2011, in the frame of the “Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with ROST” signed between the Romanian National Authority for Scientific Research and the Academy of  Science of Moldova.

The 11 Moldovan FP7 NCPs visited ROST in order to familiar with experience accumulated by their Romanian colleagues and some other IGLO offices (Turkey,UK, Ireland etc.) in promoting the activities of the European Union Seventh Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities, 2007-2013 (FP7), based on the main tasks of a NCP network:

  •  Guidance on choosing thematic priorities and instruments
  •  Distribution of documentation (forms, guidelines, manuals etc.)
  • Training and assistance on proposal writing
  • Advice on administrative procedures and contractual issues
  • Assistance in partner search.

The Romanian Office for Science and Technology (ROST) was established belong the European Commission by the Ministry of Education, Research Youth and Sport of Romania in order to promote the efficient participation of the Romanian research community in the EU R&D programmes.
