The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania together with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre are hosting a conference on Scientific support to energy security in the Baltic Sea Region on 4 July 2013 in Vilnius. The event will center on the role of science as a contributor to regional cooperation-related innovative solutions which are a precondition for successful mitigation of energy security challenges in the Baltic Sea Region. The Conference which brings together all stakeholders from governments, science and industry is an important step towards generation of relevant effective networking, best practice sharing and other factors essential for exploring scientific potential and developing practical regional solutions.
