In the context of the European Forum for Science and Industry, the JRC has organised the ‘Energy Transition from a European perspective’, a high-level roundtable discussion on how science can support the capacity markets and the integration of renewable energy.
With the increased use of renewable energy sources the electricity market is changing dramatically, creating new challenges for the grid infrastructure and energy markets.
