Our first period of project activity ended on 30th, April thus several results are now available. They are being presented per pillar in the current and in the following newsletter issues.
WP2 – Policy Dialogue
Within this work-package, our work has so far aimed at supporting the policy dialogue established mainly in the EUSDR Priority Area Steering Groups. In parallel we have been also analysing key stakeholders in the Region (by describing their activities, positions and good practices) so as to provide inputs for strategic decisions and at creating synergies and cooperation potentials.

- EUSDR Priority Area 4 “Water Quality” – Activities related to Research and Innovation

Similarly, another analytical work was carried out to support the better exploitation of existing initiatives and programmes, an enhanced dialogue among stakeholders, as well as more targeted actions in the field of R&I and education with an overarching aim of supporting the implementation of the related actions of EUSDR. This report analysed 40 stakeholders and led to the evidence that following the identification of synergies and best practices there is a significant need in defining recommendations for their enhanced exploitation and possible harmonization. Some proposals are therefore already put forward in the document below while regional stakeholders are envisaged to get engaged in a multilateral dialogue with each other to achieve them:
