The National Contact Points Network of the Republic of Moldova was created in 2008 by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and modified in 2011 following to signing the Memorandum of Understanding for Association of the Republic of Moldova to the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
In 2013 the National Contact Points Network was extended according to the structure established within the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020 (H2020). In order to expand the promotional activities, the Informational Contact Points were appointed in the R&D Institutions in the regions of Moldova. Additionally, several Local Contact Points on EURAXESS and IPR issues were nominated to assist the NCPs, SMEs, NGOs and R&D Institutions of Moldova in accessing HORIZON 2020 opportunities.
The activity of the National, Informational and Local Contact Points Network is supported and coordinated by the Center of International Projects of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova – NCP Host Institution, http://cpi.asm.md.
The National Contact Points, as well as Informational and Local Contact Points provide “hands on” support for all potential participants of the respective fields of competence in the HORIZON 2020.
